COLUMBUS, Ga. – No. 9-ranked Embry-Riddle men's tennis challenged No. 14 Columbus State with a tough road test at the Walden Tennis Center in Columbus, Ga.
The Eagles fell to the Cougars in a 5-2 defeat, marking the second loss of the season.

- ERAU opened with a win on court one of doubles as Marc Mail and Enrico Rosellini paired up for the 6-1 win.
- Unfortunately, CSU captured No. 2 doubles with a 6-3 win and followed with a 6-4 decision at No. 3 doubles for the early 1-0 advantage.
- The Cougars took care of things on courts one and two in singles play, extending the advantage to 3-0.
- Mail fell 6-2, 6-0 to Thomas Cardona on court one while Hugo Didier defeated Rosellini 6-4, 6-2 on court two.
- Joshua Nuyts gathered the Eagles' first point with a 4-6, 6-4, (10-7) win over Yike Liu at No. 4 singles.
- Columbus State clinched the match on court five with a tiebreaker win over Joao Morgado.
- The Eagles recorded their second point of the match with a 7-6 (7-5), 4-6, (10-7) win from Manuel Lanteri over Samer Al Tori.
- CSU closed out the match with a win 6-1, 6-3 win on court six to hand the Eagles a 5-2 setback.
