No. 23 Women’s Basketball Drops Road Contest at Tampa

TAMPA, Fla. – No. 23 Embry-Riddle women's basketball dropped a 77-53 contest on Saturday afternoon against the Spartans, with Tampa going on a 14-0 run in the first half and ERAU unable to come back.  The Eagles could not find the answer for the hot-shooting of UT, with 14 of the Spartans 27 made field goals coming from behind the arc. Every Embry-Riddle player recorded at least one made field goal in the game and picked up 11 steals on 14 Tampa turnovers. The Blue and Gold cut the deficit to as few as six points in the third quarter, but a 15-3 run to end the game would drop the Eagles into a tie for third place in the SSC.
