DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – After losing against No. 3 Barry last Saturday, the No. 8 Embry-Riddle women's tennis team jumped back to their winning ways after an impressive 7-0 victory against Ferris State at the Crotty Tennis Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Embry-Riddle opened the afternoon by securing the doubles point with a sweep across courts one through three.
- The No. 2 doubles matchup was a dominant performance by Benedetta Sensi and Carlota Balseiro as they earned a 6-1 win over Yara Madi and Madeline Peisley for the first doubles win.
- At No. 3 doubles, Ashley Moinard and Mariana Cabrera clinched the point with a convincing 6-1 victory against Katherine Earnest and Ayva Johnstone.
- Laura Cuesta Bret and Daniela Fernandez Junquera defeated Ana Sofia Hernandez Ferrer and Maria Fernanda Hernandez Ferrer, 6-2, at No. 1 doubles to sweep all three courts.
- In the No. 4 singles, Fernandez Junquera was able to sweep her series with consecutive scores of 6-2 against Hernandez Ferrer.
- Sensi followed with a 7-5-, 6-1 win over Ferrer at No. 3 singles to keep the Eagles rolling.
- Moinard defeated Johnstone 6-2, 6-2 at No. 5 singles.
- In No. 2 singles, Cuesta Bret was able to capture a 7-6, 6-4 victory against Madi.
- It took beyond two sets, but Gindl was able to defeat Peisley with a score of 11-9 in the tiebreaker.
- Finally, Kremerskothen wrapped it up for the Eagles defeating Zulueta with a score of 6-4, 6-2 completing the shutout for Embry-Riddle..
