HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Eagles captured the doubles point swiftly with a default win on court three and a 6-4 victory from Marc Mail and Frederic Tu on the first line.
• Charles Leguillon won the first singles match on court six by default and was followed up by Joao Morgado on court four.
• Morgado downed Emmanuel Wettey 6-1, 6-1 to give ERAU a 3-0 lead.
• Mail put together back-to-back sets of 6-1 at No. 1 singles while Manuel Lanteri closed out No. 2 singles with a win over Shane Tapera, 6-4 and 6-1.
• Joshua Nuyts and Tu both left their respective matches unfinished on courts three and five.
• Nuyts won the first set 6-4 while Tu secured set one 6-0, abandoning both matches in the second frame.
