DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle baseball team suffered its fifth straight loss, surpassing its four-game losing streak to open the season. The Eagles recorded eight hits, but timely double plays and deep center-field catches kept them off the scoreboard. Neither team hit particularly well, but a run in the fourth followed by a four-run fifth inning by Grand Valley State proved decisive.
