MARTINEZ, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference announced its Athlete of the Week honorees Monday, with Laura McBride representing Embry-Riddle as the lone Eagle to earn the recognition.
McBride competed in two events at the UCF Black & Gold Invitational, placing within the top 15 in both. In the 800m, she ran 2:10.85 to join just six other student-athletes on the NCAA II provisional standard list, finishing ninth overall against a field of primarily Division I competitors. She also posted a time of 1:03.10 in the 400m hurdles to place 14th.
Embry-Riddle will return to the UCF Track and Field Complex on Friday, March 27, for the UCF Knights Invitational.
