  • The Spartans opened the scoring with 12:46 remaining in the quarter, as Rex Kesselring found the back of the net for the game's first goal.
  • After winning the next two faceoffs, Tampa extended its lead to 3-0 including a man-up goal at 8:20 after an illegal substitution penalty against the Eagles.
  • Following their first faceoff win of the game, ERAU got on the scoreboard through an unassisted goal by Keefe, who currently leads the team with 20 goals this season.
  • Aaron Cho scored just 40 seconds after Keefe's goal to make the game 4-1 at the 6:34 mark. A one-minute tripping penalty was then given to the Spartans, before Lucas Anthony capitalized with a man-up goal for the Blue and Gold.
  • Two goals in the final minutes of the opening period put UT ahead 6-2 with all eight goals coming from eight different players.
Second Quarter
  • Jackson Bashaw scooped up a ground ball right in front of the ERAU net before scoring just a second later, extending their lead to 7-2 with 13:49 left before halftime.
  • Bobby Cyr caused a turnover on the ensuing possession, leading to a goal in transition by Gavin Young to cut Embry-Riddle's deficit to four.
  • Finnian Kelly became the 11th different player to score in the opening stages of the game when he made it 8-3 less than a minute after Young's goal.
  • The left-handed Tim Keefe grabbed his second tally of the afternoon when he drove right and was still able to beat Schmidt, providing the 12th goal of the game after just 21 minutes of action.
