MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle baseball team traveled south for an early-week tune-up as they prepare to travel to Saint Leo on Thursday in continuation of Sunshine State Conference play. The Eagles recorded seven hits and capitalized on a three-error advantage in a 7-3 victory.
Francisco Feliciano led the offensive effort with two hits, two RBIs and a run scored.

- Embry-Riddle moved closer to evening the all-time series, improving to 25-27.
- Embry-Riddle will host the Panthers April 10-11 for a three-game series with a chance to take the all-time series lead.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Eagles were held scoreless and hitless through the first two innings, leaving one on base after Collin Mastromauro was hit by a pitch.
- Florida Tech struck first in the opening inning as Marshall Burke delivered a two-out solo home run down the left-field line.
- Embry-Riddle responded in the third, using a walk and an error to spark the offense. With the bases loaded, Cole Bullen drove in the first run, and Malachi Pena followed with a two-RBI single to give the Eagles the lead.
- In the fourth, Derek Lopez reached on a walk, stole second and advanced to third on a Jack Beyl single before scoring on a failed pickoff attempt. Max McClusky later doubled to center, bringing home Beyl to extend the lead.
- After two scoreless innings, the Eagles added insurance runs by taking advantage of pitching miscues. A hit-by-pitch and a wild pitch moved runners into scoring position before Feliciano delivered a two-RBI hit.
