SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle baseball team secured its second consecutive victory in a tightly contested matchup against the Saint Leo Lions. In a tale of two halves, the Eagles overcame a slow start to prevail 4-3, breaking through after being held scoreless over the first five innings. Gabriel Acevedo led the charge with two hits, two RBIs and a home run.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Saint Leo opened the scoring in the second inning after a hit-by-pitch put a runner on base. Amai Riviera followed with a double to left field to bring in the game's first run.
- The Eagles' offense remained quiet early, while Saint Leo added to its lead in the fourth. A single and a triple set the table before Aiden Marsiglio was relieved by Garrett Caropreso, who allowed another single as the Lions extended the lead to 3-0.
- At the midway point, Embry-Riddle trailed 3-0 and had yet to record a hit since the second inning.
- The Eagles broke through in the sixth inning. Cole Bullen drew a walk and scored on an Aiken Santana triple to right-center field, cutting the deficit to 3-1. Embry-Riddle quickly retired the side to carry momentum into the seventh.
- Acevedo ignited the comeback in the seventh, launching a home run to left field to make it a one-run game.
- An error and a stolen base put Francisco Feliciano in scoring position. He advanced to third on a groundout and scored the tying run on a Bullen single to right field.
