No. 1 Women’s Rowing Sweeps All Six Races at Rollins Invitational

| By:
WINTER PARK, Fla. — No. 1 Embry-Riddle women's rowing got off to a perfect start on Saturday morning as they competed against Rollins, Barry, and the University of Florida. There were a pair of races for the V8 boats, while having three races throughout the morning for the V4 and one race for the freshmen four boat.

A strong showing from the V4+ got the morning started as the Eagles beat Rollins by less than a second to claim the win. All four schools competed in the opening V8+ race, with the Blue and Gold winning by nearly eight seconds over the Tars in second place.

The 2V8+ race was next, which was dominated by ERAU, who crossed the finish line more than 20 seconds in front of the next boat. Priscilla Aleksic, who alternated with Kaitlynn Parker between each race as the coxswain, led the Eagles to their fourth win of  the morning in the 2V4+ race, finishing as the only team under 8:30.

The 3V4+ race had five boats competing, but Embry-Riddle finished off the clean sweep of the varsity four races with a time of 8:54.8. The freshman four boat finished out the day of racing with a win over Rollins and UF.
