DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle Eagles and Florida Tech Panthers combined for 28 runs across Saturday's doubleheader, as the two sides split the afternoon slate. Paired with Friday night's win, the Eagles secured the Karman Clash trophy with a 2-1 series victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Embry-Riddle wasted no time setting the tone, erupting for six runs in the bottom of the first inning behind six hits and two Florida Tech errors to take early control.
- Cole Bullen, Aiden Corn and Aiken Santana sparked the offense with two singles and a double before Torin Foley added another RBI single, and Jack Beyl broke things open with a bases-clearing triple to make it 6-0.
- The Eagles kept pressure on in the fourth, as Santana doubled and Foley drove him in with an RBI single to extend the lead to 7-0.
- Embry-Riddle delivered another big inning in the fifth, plating four runs on three hits, highlighted by Brad Salamone's two-RBI triple and a run-scoring groundout from Santana to push the lead to 11-0.
- Florida Tech began to chip away in the sixth, scoring two runs on a hit batter and a sacrifice fly to get on the board.
- The Panthers made things interesting in the seventh, scoring five runs on four hits, including a two-run home run, to cut the deficit to 11-7.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Embry-Riddle struck first in the second inning, capitalizing on a Florida Tech error along with a Salamone single and a Collin Mastromauro RBI single to take a 2-0 lead.
- The Panthers responded in the third with three hits, plating one run to cut the deficit to 2-1.
- The Eagles answered right back in the bottom half, as Corn doubled and came around to score on a Foley RBI single to extend the lead to 3-1.
- Florida Tech flipped the game in the fifth inning, stringing together four hits and taking advantage of timely hitting to score four runs and claim a 5-3 lead.
- Embry-Riddle had opportunities to respond, including putting runners in scoring position in the fifth and sixth innings, but were unable to capitalize.
- The Panthers added insurance in the seventh on a two-run home run from Marshall Burke, stretching the lead to 7-3.
- The Eagles were held scoreless over the final four innings, as Florida Tech pitching closed the door to secure the win.
