BOCA RATON, Fla. — The Embry-Riddle women's tennis team secured a key Sunshine State Conference victory on Sunday, defeating No. 12 Lynn, 4-3.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Blue & Gold struck first, securing the doubles point by winning two of three tightly contested matches. Amelie Gindl and Laura Cuesta Bret earned a 7-5 victory at the No. 1 position, while Ashley Moinard and Mariana Cabrera followed with a 7-5 win of their own.
- Momentum shifted early in singles play, as the Eagles dropped matches at the No. 1 and No. 3 positions to fall behind 2-1.
- Franziska Kremerskothen responded at the No. 6 spot, continuing her strong play with a 6-2, 6-3 win to even the match at 2-2.
- Lynn regained the lead with a win at No. 2 singles, putting pressure on the remaining courts as both the No. 4 and No. 5 matches headed to decisive third sets.
- Moinard delivered in the No. 5 position, battling back for a 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 victory to tie the match at 3-3.
- Daniela Fernandez Junquera clinched the match for Embry-Riddle at No. 4, securing the comeback win with a 6-1, 2-6, 6-4 result.
