DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle Eagles extended their winning streak to eight games after a dominant 6-1 performance against No. 16 Flagler at the Crotty Tennis Complex on Thursday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Eagles captured two of the three doubles matches for the first point of the match.
- Ashley Moinard and Mariana Cabrera paired up for a 6-3 win over Sofia Balsera and Leah Waechter on the third flight of doubles.
- Benedetta Sensi and Daniela Fernandez Junquera fell short on court two, falling 6-4 to Eryka Kruk and Lea Jakic.
- The Eagles clinched the doubles point at No. 1 doubles as Laura Cuesta Bret and Amelie Gindl won 6-4 against Marie Fairier and Elena Ondobo.
- Beginning at No. 3 singles, Sensi defeated Fairier 6-0, 6-1 to get the Eagles a 2-0 lead.
- Fernandez Junquera increased the Eagle lead to 3-0 after defeating Balsera 6-2, 6-1 at No. 4 singles.
- In the No. 6 singles match, Kremerskothen defeated Ornella Lomenzo by a score of 6-0, 6-1.
- No. 21 Amelie Gindl increased the Embry-Riddle lead to 5-0 after a victory against No.19 Kruk with a score of 6-1, 6-2 in No. 1 singles.
- Moinard defeated Jakic 6-1, 6-4 in singles No. 5 increased the Eagles lead to 6-0.
- Closing out the day was a close match in No. 2 singles between Cuesta Bret and No. 13 Ondobo however, Ondobo was victorious as she won 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (10-8).
