No. 3 Embry-Riddle Defeats No. 8 Mocs 6-1

LAKELAND, Fla. – Embry-Riddle women's tennis heads into postseason play with a nine-match winning streak after closing the regular season out with a 6-1 road victory at No. 8 Florida Southern.

In the rescheduled contest, the Eagles opened with the doubles point and answered with five straight points after the Mocs leveled with the first flight of singles.

  • Franziska Kremerskothen increased the Embry-Riddle lead to 5-1 after defeating Diana Volkov with a score of 6-3, 6-4 in No. 6 Singles.
  • Fernandez Junquera closed the match with a 7-6 (7-2), 7-6 (9-7) victory in No. 4 singles, sealing the 6-1 win.
