LAKELAND, Fla. – Embry-Riddle women's tennis heads into postseason play with a nine-match winning streak after closing the regular season out with a 6-1 road victory at No. 8 Florida Southern.

In the rescheduled contest, the Eagles opened with the doubles point and answered with five straight points after the Mocs leveled with the first flight of singles.

• The Eagles captured two of the three doubles matches to gain one point, opening with a win at line three, where Mariana Cabrera and Ashley Moinard defeated Annika Berrendorf and Jolie Miller, 6-2.
• Laura Cuesta Bret and Amelie Gindl fell in No. 1 doubles, 6-3, to Kennedi Brown and Josie Holderbach.
• In No. 2 doubles, Benedetta Sensi and Daniela Fernandez Junquera defeated Ronja Scheurmann and Emily Jennewein, 7-5.
• In the first flight of singles, Gindl fell 0-6, 2-6 to Holderbach, accounting for Florida Southern's lone point.
• Sensi posted a 6-4, 6-4 win in No. 3 singles to give the Eagles a 2-1 lead.
• Moinard rallied in No. 5 singles for a 1-6, 6-0, 6-2 victory, extending the lead to 3-1.
• In No. 2 singles, Cuesta Bret defeated Scheurmann 6-4, 6-4 to clinch the victory.
• Franziska Kremerskothen increased the Embry-Riddle lead to 5-1 after defeating Diana Volkov with a score of 6-3, 6-4 in No. 6 Singles.
• Fernandez Junquera closed the match with a 7-6 (7-2), 7-6 (9-7) victory in No. 4 singles, sealing the 6-1 win.
