BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle baseball team was out in front early on but struggled late as Lynn rallied in the eighth and ninth innings to score six runs and down the Eagles.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Three straight walks in the second inning loaded the bases for the Lynn Fighting Knights, but the Eagles worked out of the jam to keep the game scoreless.
- The Blue & Gold opened the scoring in the third inning, courtesy of singles from Francisco Feliciano, Collin Mastromauro, and Aiken Santana.
- Embry-Riddle's defense remained sharp through the first four innings, holding Lynn without a run.
- The Eagles added on in the fifth, as Cole Bullen walked and stole second before Aidan Corn singled and Santana brought him home with a sacrifice fly to make it 3-0.
- The Fighting Knights broke through in the bottom of the fifth, using a walk, a single, and two more walks to score their first run.
- Embry-Riddle answered in the seventh, with Bullen, Corn, and Santana once again combining to push the lead to 4-1.
- Lynn surged in the eighth inning, scoring four runs on four hits to take a 5-4 lead, their first of the game
- The Eagles responded in the ninth, reclaiming the lead with two runs as Bullen, Corn, and Santana set the table before Noah Clymer drove in a run on a fielder's choice and Jack Beyl added a sacrifice fly.
- With the bases loaded and two outs in the bottom of the ninth, Ivan Herrera delivered a two-RBI single to left-center, walking off the Eagles with a 7-6 final.
INSIDE THE STATS
- Santana led the Eagles offensively, going 2-for-3 with three RBIs.
- Embry-Riddle outhit the Lynn Fighting Knights, 10-7, and committed one fewer error.
