Baseball Stumbles in Pair of Losses at Saint Leo

SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Embry-Riddle baseball team opened the weekend with a comeback victory Friday night but was unable to carry that momentum into Saturday's doubleheader. The Eagles dropped game one 10-1 before falling 3-2 in a tightly contested second game against Saint Leo. After being limited offensively in the opener, Embry-Riddle responded with a stronger showing in game two, out-hitting the Lions but leaving key opportunities on base. The results gave Saint Leo the series despite the Eagles' late push throughout the weekend.
