ATLANTA, Ga. – The Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) announced its 2025-26 Academic Top 25 Team Honor Rolls earlier this week, with Embry-Riddle women's basketball earning a third-place finish among all NCAA Division II programs.

The Eagles posted a 3.841 team GPA during the 2025-26 academic year, finishing just behind Mercy (3.853) and fellow Sunshine State Conference (SSC) member Florida Southern (3.849). During the fall semester, ERAU posted a 3.90 cumulative GPA with five student-athletes posting a perfect 4.0. In the spring, the team earned a 3.78 cumulative GPA and had another pair of 4.0s.

The Blue and Gold's success in the classroom mirrored its accomplishments on the court. The team placed 11 student-athletes on the SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll, had two College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selections through Mary Lengemann and Alyssa Brasko, while producing three All-SSC honorees in Eliana Sheplee, Kailey Turpening, and Laurie Satchell.

Embry-Riddle concluded the 2025-26 campaign with a 22-7 overall record and a 16-4 mark in Sunshine State Conference play. ERAU has now advanced to the NCAA Division II Tournament in three consecutive seasons, in addition to reaching the 20-win mark for the third straight year.

The WBCA Academic Top 25 Team Honor Rolls recognize collegiate women's basketball teams in each NCAA and collegiate division that achieve the highest combined grade point averages for all student-athletes on their rosters throughout the season. Teams must post a combined GPA of at least 3.0 to earn recognition.
