GREENWOOD, Ind. – Embry-Riddle women's basketball had two of their student-athletes recognized on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team on Tuesday. Mary Lengemann and Alyssa Brasko each received the honor for the first time in their careers, recognizing their performances both on the court and in the classroom.

To be eligible for recognition, student-athletes must have a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, have played in at least 90% of their team's contests from the current season, and be at least a sophomore.

Lengemann, a senior majoring in Aeronautical Science, holds a 3.67 cumulative GPA and earned a perfect 4.0 GPA in the fall semester. On the court, the forward averaged 11.2 points and 5.4 rebounds per game this season. She will graduate ranked among the top 10 in program history in 13 categories, including tying for the most games played in program history (114) and finishing sixth all-time in scoring with 900 career points.

Off the field, the native of Imlay City, Michigan, has been named to the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll every season of her career, earned the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award last season, and recently earned her Commercial Multi-Engine Pilot license. In the community, Lengemann has spent time working at local humane societies and mentoring youth basketball players.

As for Brasko, the forward out of Apopka, Florida appeared in every game this season for the Eagles, averaging over 20 minutes per game and having a career game against Saint Leo when she opened conference play with 20 points and 8 rebounds. During her time at ERAU, the junior has earned a 3.92 cumulative GPA as an Aerospace Physiology major.

Similar to Lengemann, Brasko has also been named to the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll each season of her career while earning D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award during the 2024-25 season. Her leadership ability has not gone unnoticed as she was voted to become the Secretary of the Embry-Riddle Athletics Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Off campus, Brasko has worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at a local hospital and accumulated more than 50 hours of service for the Halifax Humane Society.
