Biography
2015-16: Shot a career-low 73 in the second round of the Jacksonville University Classic (Sept. 28)...was the top Eagle finisher at the JU Classic with a 224 (74-73-77), finishing 26th overall...named the Embry-Riddle Female Athlete of the Week on Oct. 5 for her performance at the JU Classic.
2014-15: Played in a team-high 25 rounds…finished 25th overall with an 82-78 (160) at the NAIA Fall Preview (Oct. 28)…three-round season low of 251 (87-78-86) came at the NAIA National Championships in Savannah, Ga. (May 15).
2013-14: Teed off in seven tournaments in her first season as an Eagle…shot a season-low 85 in the second round of the SCAD Fall Invitational (Oct. 22).
At Western Carolina University: Played one year at Western Carolina University...shot a season stroke average of 82 with a personal best round of 76...four team tournament wins.
Prep: 2012 graduate of Mater Salvatoris in Madrid, Spain...played golf under coaches Antonio Barquero, Fred Lilly and Antonio Elviro...season average of 76 and a personal best round of 71.
Personal: Born in Madrid, Spain on Oct. 10, 1994...daughter of Carolina Carriles and Juan Carlos Gonzalez...volunteered at World Youth Day in Madrid in 2011...majoring in Business Administration and Psychology with a minor in Human Factors.
