GENERAL INFORMATION		Head Coach Steve Ridder Steve Ridder has directed the Embry-Riddle Eagles Basketball Program to an impressive level in 25 years and has accumulated an outstanding list of accomplishments. Following a difficult first season with just four victories in 1989-90, Ridder orchestrated the biggest turnaround in NAIA men’s basketball history winning 22 games the following year and has not looked back, posting 20-win seasons in 19 of his 25 years at the helm of the program. He also has four 30-win campaigns to his credit. In 1999-00, the Eagles reached the NAIA pinnacle claiming the program’s first national championship. The Blue and Gold followed with the program’s best record (32-4) in 2000-01 and were ranked No. 1 in the nation from wire-to-wire. Ridder continues to earn the reputation as a disciplinarian, hard worker, and outstanding leader and motivator. Click here to read more about Steve Ridder Chad Keller Assistant Coach 2013-14 marks Chad Keller’s 10th season as an assistant coach with the Embry-Riddle men’s basketball team. Keller joined the Embry-Riddle coaching staff in August of 2004 after serving as the Head Boys’ Basketball Coach at Leesburg High School from 2001-04. During Keller’s eight-year tenure, the Eagles have posted an overall record of 210-60, have won four conference tournament championships, three conference regular season titles and have made five trips to the NAIA National Tournament. Keller has transitioned from working with perimeter players to focusing on post player development over the course of his collegiate coaching career. The Embry-Riddle big men have been a staple in the program’s success over the years and in the last two seasons, under Keller’s guidance, David Butler, Eric Lorenzi, Ray Graham and Tyler DeBord garnered All-Conference honors with Butler, DeBord and Graham gernering All-America accolades.
