Coaching Staff

	Liam McIlhatton Liam McIlhatton took over the reins of the Embry-Riddle women’s soccer program in June 2022 and guided the Eagles to an undefeated regular season, a Sunshine State Conference tournament title and a South Regional final appearance. Only the third head coach in the program’s 24-year history, McIlhatton brought familiarity and continuity to the women’s soccer program having served as the program’s top assistant from the spring of 2010 until his appointment as head coach. Working alongside Samantha Bohon during that time, McIlhatton helped elevate ERAU women’s soccer to national prominence at both the NAIA and NCAA II levels. The Eagles won five Sun Conference titles and advanced to five NAIA National Tournament appearances in his first five seasons and within ERAU’s first five years after transitioning to NCAAII, they captured two Sunshine State Conference tournament titles and one regular season crown and made two NCAA II tournament appearances, including a Sweet 16 finish in 2019. 	Maddie Cunningham Maddie Cunningham was named the assistant coach of the Embry-Riddle women's soccer program in August 2022. A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Cunningham played collegiate soccer for the University of Mississippi. She was a four-year defender for the Rebels and helped Ole Miss to the second round of the 2013 NCAA National Tournament. After graduating from Ole Miss in 2015, Cunningham moved back to her home state after accepting the position of Director of Operations for women's soccer at the University of Kentucky. In addition to handling logistics for team travel, scheduling and planning and running camps and clinics, she managed the Wildcats' sports science technologies, including breakdown of game film and management of their Polar technology.
