Danny Krazit

  • Title
    Student Assistant Coach
Danny Krazit joined the Eagle family as a student-athlete in 2007. Four years later, he is now a member of the Eagles’ coaching staff after being named a Student Assistant Coach in the summer of 2011.

Krazit came to Embry-Riddle by way of Bishop Moore High School in Orlando, Fla., where he played for former Embry-Riddle Assistant Coach Rob Graham. Krazit brought his talent as a two-time All-State selection and a McDonald’s All-American nominee to Embry-Riddle in 2007. He became immersed in the Embry-Riddle culture as an instructor at the Embry-Riddle/Steve Ridder Basketball Camp during the summer before his freshman year and joined the Eagle roster in the fall of 2007.

As a freshman, Krazit saw action in 33 games and averaged 3.7 points per game to help the Eagles the NAIA National Tournament. Described by Ridder as “a very unselfish player and a fierce competitor who loves to win and knows how to win”, Krazit earned a spot in the starting line-up as a sophomore and upped his scoring averaging to 4.7 points per contest.
The following year, Krazit started in 30 of the Eagles 36 contests and helped the Blue and Gold to the quarterfinal round of the NAIA National Tournament. During his senior campaign, Krazit played in all 34 games but drew only six starts, but he continued to be the heart a soul of the team and his leadership helped ERAU make a return trip to the national stage.

In addition to working at the Embry-Riddle/Steve Ridder Basketball Camps every year since 2007, Krazit has also served as an instructor at the Orlando Magic Basketball Camp (2009), Orlando Hoops Basketball Training (2007-08), and Campbell University Basketball Camp (2011).

Krazit will complete his degree in Business Administration in December, 2011
