At Mississippi College: Played his 2008-09 sophomore season with the Choctaws…participated in three rounds averaging 85 with his lowest round of 80 coming at the Mississippi College Invitational (Sept. 16, 2008).
 
At Warner: Competed his freshman year, the 2007-08 season, with the men’s golf team.
 
Prep: Graduated from Pine Ridge High School in May 2007 where he played for Coach Jack Hess…selected team captain for the 2006-07 season…named Player to Watch by the Daytona Beach News-Journal in 2007.
 
Personal: Born in Winter Park, Florida…parents are David and Denise Courtney…majoring in Aviation Business Administration...did a four-year tour of duty with the United States Navy…worked on his golf game by hitting balls off the flight deck of USS Gettysburg during a nine-month deployment.
