• 2024 IRCA Scholar Athlete
2023-24 (Freshman): Named an Intercollegiate Rowing Coaches Association Scholar Athlete...competed in 11 races as a freshman...picked up a gold with the Novice Eights at Head of the Schuylkill (Oct. 28)...picked up a win with the Novice Eights at FIRA Championships (March 30)...rowed to a silver at FIRA in the Varsity Singles (7:47.76)...fourth place at the Knecht Cup (April 14) with the Varsity Eights...rowed to a victory in the Varsity Eights third final at Dad Vail Regatta (6:21.560).
Prep: 2023 graduate of Franklin High School…competed for Narragansett Boat Club…served as the team captain...also competed on the swim team.
Personal: Born in Atlanta, Georgia…parents are Karen and Wes Kerns…majoring in Mechanical Engineering…volunteered as a coach for the Narragansett Boat Club’s Stem to Stern program.
