2017-18: Did not compete.
 
2016-17: INDOOR: Threw a career-best 15.93m in the weight throw and won the shot put with a mark of 17.50m at the Samford Two Day Open (Feb. 10-11)…won the shot put with a career-high mark of 17.86m at the KMS Invitational (Jan. 29). OUTDOOR: Won the shot put (17.18m) and the discus (49.33m) at the 11th Spring Classic Invitational (March 17-18)…swept the shot put (18.04 – PR), discus (50.35m), and hammer (44.23m) events at the Florida Division 2 Challenge (March 25)…swept those same events at the Embry-Riddle Spikes Classic (March 31-April 1), winning the discus in a career-record distance of 51.89m, as well as the shot put (17.66m) and hammer (47.17m)…posted career-best mark of 48.75m in the hammer at the USF Invitational (April 21-22).
 
2015-16: Utilized redshirt.
 
2014-15: INDOOR: Broke the program record in the shot put at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational (Jan. 23), posting a mark of 14.11m…finished second in the weight throw (15.17m) at the Embry-Riddle Last Chance (Feb. 21)…threw the discus 45.72m at the Embry-Riddle Indoor/Outdoor Challenge (Jan. 17) to set the program record. OUTDOOR: Four-time All-Sun Conference performer with third-place finishes in the javelin (47.54m), discus (42.85m), shot put (14.14m) and hammer (38.74m) at The Sun Conference Championships (April 19)…posted a mark of 15.27m in the shot put at the NAIA Outdoor National Championships (May 23), finishing 22^nd overall…broke the program record in the shot put with a throw of 15.28m at the North Florida Twilight (April 10).
 
PREP: 2014 graduate of Heritage High School…competed under coaches Timothy Baker, Ed Kinsel, Ajay Ulmer, Steve Stengal, and Eddie Mayes…best marks included 54.5’ in the shot put and 155’ in the discus throw…named a U.S. Army National Scholar-Athlete two years in a row.
 
PERSONAL: Born in South Bend, Ind. on Aug. 30, 1996…son of Dana and Peter Slis…has volunteered for Relay for Life since 2010…majoring in Business Administration.
