2010-11: INDOOR – Competed in four meets…placed second in the shot put (13.01m) and third in the weight throw (12.54m) at the ERAU Indoor Outdoor Challenge (Jan. 22)…broke the school record in the shot put with a distance of 13.34m at the ERAU Last Chance (Feb. 18)…also placed third in the javelin (48.98m) at the EAU Last Chance (Feb. 18). OUTDOOR – Participated in five meets…finished third in the shot put (13.67m) at the USF Open…won the javelin with a “B” standard throw of 56.45m at the ERAU Spikes Classic (Mar. 18)…finished fourth in the hammer throw (29.50m) at the USF Collegiate Invitational (Apr. 1)…earned a gold medal in the javelin (45.99m) and silver medals in the hammer throw (40.67m) and the shot put (13.70m) at The Sun Conference Championships (Apr. 17).

2009-10: INDOOR – Threw in two meets for ERAU…placed first in both the shot put (13.58m) and the javelin (43.08m) at the ERAU Dual Meet. OUTDOOR – Helped the Eagles to the 2010 Sun Conference title with three top-fives at The Sun Conference Championships (Apr. 18), including first in the javelin (49.61m), third in the shot put (14.07m) and fourth in the hammer throw (40.05m)…posted a season-best 51.12 in the javelin at the ERAU Spike’s Classic (Apr. 2)…14.42 proved to be his best mark in the shot put during the Spike’s Classic, placing him second overall.

2008-09: INDOOR – Set the ERAU record at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational (Feb. 6), as he threw 12.29m in the shot put event. OUTDOOR – Named The Sun Conference Field Athlete of the Year for his performance in the field events at the TSC Championships, throwing 50.61m in the javelin, 32.02m in the hammer and 12.36m in the shot put…competed in the shot put and javelin at the Winter Sun #1 (Jan. 17), took first in the javelin (49.54) and second in the shot (12.24m)…set the ERAU record in the shot put at the Riddle Run Around (Apr. 5) and the ERAU record in the javelin at Clermont Throws meet (Feb. 14)….took fourth place in the shot put and third in the javelin at the ERAU Last Chance meet (Jan. 21), throwing 12.54m and 12.37m, respectively.

PREP: Graduated from Wilson High School in 2008…competed in the javelin and shot-put for Coach Doug Dahms…three-year letterwinner in track and field, two-year letterwinner in football …earned All-State honorable mention his senior year for track and field.

PERSONAL: Born in Reading, Pa. on Sept. 1, 1989...son of David and Keely Szablowski…reading volunteer at local hospital…majoring in Aeronautical Science.
