2011-12: INDOOR – Competed at the ERAU Last Chance (Feb. 18), throwing a 45.63m in the javelin. OUTDOOR – Participated in five meets, competing exclusively in the javelin…placed ninth at the USF Bulls Invitational (Mar. 15) with a mark of 43.87m…recorded a season-high 44.42m throw at the FSU Seminole Invitational (Apr. 13)…finished fourth at The Sun Conference Championships (Apr. 23) with a distance of 44.25m.
 
PREP: 2009 graduate of Hartford High School...earned a seventh-place finish in the javelin at the Vermont state championships...placed 33rd in the New England region in the javelin.

PERSONAL: Born on March 8, 1991 in Wooster, Ohio...son of Mike and Mary Paino...majoring in Aerospace Engineering...transferred to Embry-Riddle after studying at Clarkson University for two years...did not compete athletically at Clarkson.
