2009: CROSS COUNTRY – Scored points in all eight meets for the Blue and Gold… was the No. 2 Eagle finisher in meets and the No. 3 Eagle finisher in three meets…crossed the finish line in a season-best time of 18:32.28 at the Charles Bowles Invitational (Oct. 3)…raced to a fifth place overall finish at the Asics Invitational (Oct. 10) as No. 4 in the Eagle pack in 20:34.98.
2008-09:  OUTDOOR – Participated in the 800m, 1500m, and 5K events at the Spike’s Classic (Mar. 21) placing second (2:29.13), third (4:59.45) and fifth (22:23.32), respectively…helped the 4x800 relay tea to fifth place at the Florida Relays (Apr. 3-4) in a time of 9:21.49…took second in the 1500m run at the Riddle Run-Around (Apr. 5) with a time of 5:01.86…completed the 800m run with a time of 2:30.49 at the Miami Elite (Apr. 11) and placed fourth in the 1500m with a time of 4:56.90…finished second in the 1500m (5:06.16) and 5K (20:26.58) and placed fifth in the 800m (2:26.22) at The Sun Conference Championship (Apr. 19)…placed third in the 800m run with a time of 2:22.58 at the Seminole Twilight (May 8-9). INDOOR – Placed second in the mile (5:41.42) and sixth in the 1000m run (3:29.13) at the Winter Sun (Jan. 17)…placed first in the mile and second in the 1000m run at the  ERAU Challenge (Jan.31) with times of 5:22.84 and 3:06.01, respectively…took fifth in the distance medley with a time of 12:23.38 at the Tiger Invitational (Feb. 13-14)…placed first in both the 1000m run and one mile run at ERAU Last Chance (Feb. 21) with times of 3:05.86 and 5:14.44, respectively…earned All-American status as a member of the fifth place  4x800m team at NAIA Indoor Nationals (Mar. 5-7) with a time of 9:24.14…member of the distance medley relay team that ran a program-best time of 12:16.59 at the NAIA Indoor National Championships. CROSS-COUNTRY – The top Eagle runner throughout the season with six first-place finishes…ran four of the top five fastest times in Embry-Riddle history…finished fourth overall at the Asics Invitational (Sept. 20) and Hatter Invitational (Oct. 17) with times of 20:37.29 and 19:33, respectively…posted a career-best 18:20 at The Sun Conference Championships to become the fastest runner ever at ERAU...finished first on the squad at the NAIA Championships with a time of 18:34.

2007-08: OUTDOOR– NAIA All-American in the 4x800m relay after racing to a sixth place finish at the NAIA Outdoor Track National Championships (May 22)…placed third at the Seminole Twilight meet in the 800m (May 10). INDOOR– Member of the fifth place All-American 4x800m relay team at the NAIA Indoor Track National Championships (Mar. 6-8). CROSS COUNTRY – Broke her own school record in the 5K with an 18:29, first-place performance at the Sand Shark Invitational (Oct. 20)…raced to a first place finish among ERAU runners in six races and earned second place team points in two events…finished second overall in three races including the FSC Championships (Nov. 3)…had a top-10 finish at the FLRunners.com Invitational (Oct. 5) as she finished seventh overall with a time of 19:45.35.

2006-07: OUTDOOR– Raced to a 2:19.74 finish in the 800m at the 2007 FSU Relays (Mar. 29)…finished the 1500m in 4:49.68 at the Pepsi Florida Relays (Apr. 6)…crossed the finish line first in the 5K in 19:28.49 at the FSC Championships (Apr. 19)…second in the 800m and 1500m at the FSC Championships and garnered FSC Runner of the Year honors…part of the 4x800m relay team that qualified for nationals under the “B” standard after a first-place performance of 9:39.03 at the FSC Championships…ran the first leg of the 4x800m relay that set the school record at 9:33.35 at NAIA Outdoor Track Nationals (May 24). INDOOR– Set the ERAU record for the indoor mile at 5:22.98 at the Tiger Invitational (Feb. 9)…completed the 1000m in 3:00.51 at the ERAU Last Chance meet (Feb. 24)…part of the 4000m distance relay team that completed the event in an ERAU-best 12:23.67 at the ERAU Last Chance Meet and qualified for nationals…ran the third leg of Embry-Riddle’s distance medley relay team that broke the indoor track record in the finals at the NAIA Indoor Track Nationals (Mar. 10) with a time of 12:33.13. CROSS COUNTRY – The Eagles’ top female runner in 2006...broke the school record at the Greater Louisville Classic (Sept. 30) coming in at 19:03.37...broke her own school record the following week at the Florida State Invitational (Oct. 7) in 19:01.08...finished third overall in three meets in 2006.

Prep: A 2006 graduate of South High School...four-time Bay League All-Area...team qualified for the California Interscholastic Federation state meet in 2002...CIF individual qualifier in 2004 and 2005...varsity cross country team captain from 2003-05...three-time team MVP...track co-captain from 2005-06...named track MVP in 2006.

Personal: Born in Mission Hills, Calif. on Aug 29, 1988…daughter of Karl and Stephanie Salinas...majoring in Aerospace Engineering…recipient of the 2007 NBAA NORDAM Dee Howard/Etienne Fage Scholarship.
