Biography

2016-17: Cross Country: Eagles' top finisher in three of her four races...set a collegiate-best 19:14.13 at the Sand Shark Invite (Oct. 22)...finished 17th overall at the ASICS Embry-Riddle Classic (Sept. 17) in 21:13.93. Indoor: Ran an 11:11.32 in the 3,000m at the Samford Open (Feb. 11)...also competed in the 5,000m at the Samford Open, finishing in 19:14.83. Outdoor: Finished third in the 10,000m in 40:21.85 at the Embry-Riddle Spikes Classic (April 1)...collegiate-best time of 5:25.24 in the 1,500m came against West Virginia Wesleyan (March 6)...posted a college-best time of 18:49.14 in the 5,000m at the UNF Invitational (April 8).

2015-16: CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in four meets for the Eagles…posted season-best time of 21:23.65 at the Sand Shark Invitational (Oct. 24). INDOOR: Ran the 5000m in three meets, including a season-best 19:33.69 at the Embry-Riddle Indoor/Outdoor Challenge (Jan. 23). OUTDOOR: Finished fourth in the 10,000m at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational (March 19), running a 39:55.06…career record time of 19:23.49 in the 5000m came at the UNF Spring Break Invitational (March 26).
 
2014-15: CROSS COUNTRY: Ran in six meets…finished 27th at The Sun Conference Championships (Nov. 8)…posted a season best time of 20:27.45 at the Sand Shark Invitational (Oct. 25). INDOOR: Ran the 5,000m at the Embry-Riddle Indoor/Outdoor Challenge (Jan. 17), finishing second in 20:34.87. OUTDOOR: Participated in the Marathon at the NAIA Outdoor National Championships (May 23), placing 18th overall in a school-record time of 3:21:57.00…finished the 1,500m at the Bulls Invitational (March 20) in 5:29.25…ran a personal-best 20:18.13 in the 5,000m at the UNF East Region Preview (May 8).
 
PREP: 2014 graduate of Gulf High School...ran for Head Coach Dean Lofton...four-time All-Conference performer in cross country, earning team MVP honors in 2012 and Most Dedicated, Determined and Disciplined in 2013...named to the academic honor roll all four years of her prep career.

PERSONAL: Born in Rzeszow, Poland...daughter of Agnieszka and Mariusz Gazda...majoring in Engineering Physics...volunteered with Big Brother, Big Sister, as well as being a tutor in math and Spanish.
