Biography
2013-14: CROSS COUNTRY – Raced in five meets for the Blue and Gold…best time was 20:21.28, finishing 83rd overall at the South Florida Invitational (Sept. 6)…posted her top overall finish, 20th place, in 20:31.06 at The Sun Conference Championships (Nov. 9).
2012-13: INDOOR/OUTDOOR - Did not compete.
2011-12: CROSS COUNTRY - Competed in seven of the Eagles’ eight meets during her freshman season… ran her best time of the year at The Sun Conference Championships (Nov. 5) in 22:27.44 to finish 23rd overall…finished 25th overall at the Asics Embry-Riddle Classic (Oct. 8) with a time of 24:22.28. INDOOR: Ran in three meets for ERAU…posted a time of 12:29.10 in the 3000m at the Webber Warrior Indoor Track Classic (Feb. 11), finishing third. OUTDOOR: Raced to three career-best marks during the outdoor season, including a 6:01.91 in the 1500m, a 15:11.34 in the 3000m Steeplechase and a 49:03.83 in the 10,000m.
PREP: 2011 graduate of Fulton High School…ran for the Hornets for four seasons…named an All-Conference performer in 2009.
PERSONAL: Born in Columbia, Mo. on July 7, 1993…daughter of Stephanie and Danny Smith…majoring in Air Traffic Control…National Honor Society member…taught swimming lessons at her local pool.
