Elyse DeLisle

Embry-Riddle Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach Marissa Giannerini  announced Elyse Delisle as the program’s first assistant coach in September 2016.
 
Delisle came to ERAU from Lynchburg College where she was the Hornets’ assistant coach in the 2015-16 academic year. She helped LC to a 12-6 overall record and the semifinal round of the ODAC championship.
 
Prior to her time at Lynchburg, Delisle coached high school and club lacrosse in the Orlando area. As the Varsity Girls Lacrosse Head Coach at Olympia High School in Orlando, she coached three All-Metro West first team players, as well as the All-Metro West Athlete of the Year, and led the Titans to the 2015 district, metro and regional championships. From 2012-14, she was an assistant coach and the goalkeeper coach for RC Elite Lacrosse Club, and from 2014-15, she served as the Florida Coordinator and a coach for Revolution Lacrosse Club..
 
Giannerini became acquainted with Delisle at Rollins where they played together for the Tars. By the time she graduated in 2014, Delisle had racked up numerous athletic and academic accolades. In 2012, she was named the South Region Goalkeeper of the year, and was named to the South Region first team and the NCAA II All-America second team. A two-year team captain, she also helped the Tars to the NCAA II National Championship semifinals in 2012 and 2013.
 
Delisle earned her bachelor’s degree in English from Rollins in 2014 and is working toward a Master of Education in Instructional Leadership from Lynchburg.
