As a Freshman in 2009: Played in 14 matches (23 sets) for the Blue and Gold…tallied eight service aces and 37 digs…had 11 digs in a win at Edward Waters on Sept. 26.

Prep: A three-year letter winner at Lake Mary High School before graduating in 2009…honored as a member of the All-Conference team in 2009…voted by teammates as the Best Defender in 2009…Trinity Prep Invitational All-Tournament Team member in 2009…competed as a member of MHS’s weightlifting squad that was Conference Champions in the 2008 and 2009 seasons…played three seasons of club volleyball for The Volleyball Academy (Orlando, Fla.)…captained her club volleyball team in her final year…four-year member of the LMHS National Honor Society…participated in Mu Alpha Theta math honors club…named an Advanced Placement Scholar at LMHS…graduated in the top three percent of 637 students at LMHS…graduated with honors…received the LMHS Citizenship Award as well as being named a “Student of the Week” in each of her four years in high school…active member of the Principles Honors Society and the Teenage Republican club…toured Italy and Slovenia with Bring It USA Volleyball Club in December of 2008.

Personal: Parents are Jenny and Larry Savallo…majoring in Aerospace Engineering…volunteered with the Lake Mary Pop Warner Football League for three years…aided youth education at Nativity Catholic Church.
