Kyrin Mayfield joined Embry-Riddle in 2021 as a sports information intern before being promoted to Assistant Director of Sports Information in May of 2022. He also served as a broadcaster for the Eagles’ lacrosse and softball programs in 2020.
Prior to joining Embry-Riddle, Mayfield spent the spring of 2021Â as a sports information intern for Lindsey Wilson College. He was tasked with composing articles, creating media guides, designing graphics and broadcasting.

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications from the University of Florida in 2019, Mayfield was hired as a communications intern for the Florida Collegiate Summer League as well as a commentator for the College of Coastal Georgia.

While at the University of Florida, Mayfield spent time as a broadcaster for the Gator Student Broadcast Network as well as a reporter and anchor for WUFT News. His responsibilities included recording live athletic events, creating highlight packages, and conducting postgame interviews.
