Pitcher/infielder Robi Zimmerman has earned the Embry-Riddle Female Athlete of the Week honor for the week of April 4-10. For the week, the senior went 5-for-9 with two home runs and five RBIs, while also pitching seven innings with a 1-1 record and five strikeouts. In Friday's 9-1 victory, Zimmerman was a catalyst for the Blue and Gold, going 2-for-3 with two homers and five RBIs while also pitching a complete game to earn the win. In the game, Zimmerman surpassed Alexis Estrada for the program's all-time strikeout record as well.
