Pitcher/designated player Kassidy Simons has earned the Embry-Riddle Female Athlete of the Week honor for the week of April 11-17. This marks the third time this season that Simons has earned the award. For the week, the freshman went 6-for-11 with two doubles, three runs scored and three RBIs. In the circle, Simons was 2-0 with a 0.93 ERA and 12 strikeouts in 15 innings pitched, leading the Eagles to a 2-1 series win over No. 17 Rollins.
