Merari Coronado of the women's track & field team has been named Embry-Riddle's Female Athlete of the Week for Jan. 22-28. For Coronado, this is her second weekly award of the season and of her career. The freshman broke the school record in the shot put, placing second in the event with a mark of 14.30m at this weekend's KMS Invitational. She is currently ranked 17th in NCAA II in the event this season.
