Libero Olivia Roa of the volleyball team is Embry-Riddle's Female Athlete of the Week for Sept. 10-16. For Roa, this marks her second weekly award of the season and fifth of her career. Roa, a junior from Port Orange, currently leads the Sunshine State Conference and is ranked 11th in NCAA II in digs/set (6.34) and also leads the SSC with 15 service aces. Over the weekend, Roa had 39 digs in a five-set match against No. 4 Palm Beach Atlantic and followed up with 26 digs in a sweep of Nova Southeastern.
