Junior pitcher Jayla Jackson of the softball team has been named the Embry-Riddle Female Athlete of the Week for the week of April 8-14, marking her first weekly award of the season and third of her career. Jackson pitched 15 innings in ERAU's three-game series at Rollins this weekend, including a nine-inning effort allowing just four hits and one run to lead ERAU to a 3-1 victory, earning the series win. She also tossed a six-inning complete game on Friday, giving up just one run on six hits.
