Phoebe Gustely of the women's track and field team has been named the Tijuana Flats Female Athlete of the Week for April 29-May 5. For Gustely, this marks her first weekly award of the season and of her career. Gustely won the discus at the PURE Athletics Sprint Elite Meet on Sunday with a season-best throw of 43.18m.
