Kristen Metcalfe of the women's track & field team has been named the Tijuana Flats Female Athlete of the Week for May 20-26. For Metcalfe, this marks her third weekly award of the season and eighth of her career. The senior earned a pair of All-American honors at the NCAA II Outdoor Track & Field National Championships, coming in third in both the 800m and 1500m events. Metcalfe finished just .46 seconds behind the winner in the 1500m and was less than a second behind the runner-up in the 800m, scoring 12 points in the team standings for the Blue and Gold, helping ERAU tie for 20th place overall.
