Alyssa Rudd of the women's volleyball team has been named the Tijuana Flats Female Athlete of the Week for October 14-20. For Rudd, this marks her first weekly award of the season and second of her career. The senior totaled 155 assists, 41 digs, nine kills, and six blocks at the South Region Crossover Tournament, leading the Eagles to a 3-0 record. Rudd eclipsed the 50-assist mark in two of the three matches, including a 57-assist, 22-dig effort in a 3-2 win over Montevallo. She was selected to the All-Tournament Team at the conclusion of the event.
