Sierra Coward of the women's track & field team is the Embry-Riddle Female Athlete of the Week after winning the Peach Belt Conference championship in the heptathlon with a school record performance. Coward became the first Eagle ever to claim the PBC crown in the heptathlon, scoring 4398 points, shattering the program record previously held by Tarra Keating. Coward won six of the seven events in the heptathlon in addition to placing second in the 100m hurdles, giving her two medals over the weekend.
