AT A GLANCE
The eighth-ranked Embry-Riddle Eagles take a trip to Babson Park for a three-game set with Webber International this weekend. The Eagles have their sights set on the program's 14 regular season conference title, needing three wins to claim the crown and earn the No. 1 seed in The Sun Conference Tournament. The Warriors, currently tied for third in the league standings, wrap up their conference slate against ERAU this weekend, as do most of the other 10 teams in the league.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR
The Eagles took two out of three games from then-No. 19 St. Thomas last weekend, but fell in the series finale thanks to some ill-timed rain that forced the game to end in the middle of the sixth inning. Webber International has won four straight contests, including a three game sweep of Florida Memorial last week. Both teams enter Friday night's game with over 30 wins and are guaranteed a spot in The Sun Conference Tournament.

SCOUTING WEBBER INTERNATIONAL
The Warriors are one of the better-hitting teams in the conference, averaging .299  in 49 games, collecting 273 RBIs on 449 hits. Ramon Sanchez leads the team with a .351 average in 37 games, recording 34 hits and 28 RBIs while scoring 16 runs. Billy Farrell is hitting .343 with a team-leading 60 hits, 28 RBIs and 55 runs scored.

The Warrior pitching staff boasts a 3.56 ERA, walking 141 batters while striking out 326. Chris Garcia, Rob Lane and Alex Greener are the likely starters this weekend as Garcia is 6-2 with a 3.01 ERA, Lane is 6-1 with a 4.23 ERA and Greener has posted a 5-1 record and 3.00 ERA.

LAST GAMES: Eagles Win Series, but Rain Denies Blue and Gold Sweep of St. Thomas (Apr. 14)
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Embry-Riddle split an afternoon doubleheader with St. Thomas on Sunday, run-ruling the Bobcats in the first game, 14-3 before rain ended the series finale in STU's favor, 2-1 after just five and a half frames. The Eagles (34-12, 17-4) claimed the three-game series with two wins, moving three games in front of the Bobcats (31-15, 17-7) in the loss column in The Sun Conference standings.

QUARTER CENTURY OF EAGLE BASEBALL
The 2013 season marks the 25th edition of Eagle baseball and Embry-Riddle athletics overall. The basketball, baseball, men's tennis and men's golf programs began in the 1988-89 academic year and were the foundation the rest of the department was built upon.

Embry-Riddle is 961-411-1 in 25 seasons, capturing 13 conference regular season titles, four conference tournament titles, seven regional crowns, claiming 28 NAIA All-America honors, 35 Honorable Mention All-American honors and advancing to the NAIA World Series 11 times (T-4th most in NAIA history).
