AT A GLANCE
Embry-Riddle returns home after a three-game series in Tuscaloosa, Ala. against NCAA II Stillman where the Eagles dropped two of three to the Tigers, despite one of the losses featuring a Stetson Nelson no-hitter. The Eagles continue to struggle at the plate, hitting just .241 as a team, but the Blue and Gold busted out 13 hits and eight runs on Sunday's getaway game against the Tigers.

EMBRY-RIDDLE
The story of the season for the Eagles has been pitching. ERAU boasts a 2.63 team ERA in 13 games and 113.0 innings of work, allowing opponents to hit just .202 while striking out 106 batters and giving up just 14 extra-base hits.

Stetson Nelson threw the program's fifth no-hitter last Saturday, but was tagged with a loss as the Eagles couldn't muster any run support for the junior left-hander in a 1-0 loss. Daniel Poncedeleon and Corey Tufts have also pitched well for the Eagles with Poncedeleon posting a 1.98 ERA in four starts with a team-high 29 strikeouts.

J Rhet Montana and Liam Goodall have paced tbe Eagles from the plate, hitting .348 and .308 respectively. Montana has 12 hits, including a team-high four doubles to go along with four RBIs. Goodall, last week's Sun Conference Player of the Week, has improved his average over 100 points in just over a week, and has 16 hits with seven RBIs for the Blue and Gold.

SCOUTING DAVENPORT
The Panthers, who are playing a game against Warner on Monday afternoon, are 4-1 on the young season with two wins each over Union (Ky.) and Grace (Neb.).

Early on, the Panthers are hitting .329 as a team with 53 hits and 33 RBIs in five contests. Brendan Bender is 9-for-15 with a home run and five RBIs and five walks. Connor Seymour has a .429 average in five games with a team-leading six RBIs.

The Panther pitching staff has recorded a 4.05 ERA led by Corey Sessions' 0.75 ERA and 2-0 record in a pair of starts.
