THE OPENING TIP
• Embry-Riddle is back on the road for their third game this week, a tough test against No. 22 Southeastern in Lakeland
• The Eagles suffered their first loss of 2014-15 on Tuesday, dropping a 77-70 decision to Thomas on the road before bouncing back for a 76-64 win against Johnson & Wales on Thursday night.

EMBRY-RIDDLE
The Eagles are back on the road for a Saturday showdown with second-place Southeastern in Lakeland. The NAIA II Top-25 Matchup will feature two of the best guard/center combos in the country with ERAU's DeForest Carter/Cesar Pastrana and SEU's Andre' Winston/Timothy Mitchell. ERAU bounced back from its first loss of the year on Tuesday with a 76-64 win over Johnson & Wales in Daytona Beach on Thursday. Carter fell just one assist shy of a triple-double, scoring 20 points, grabbing 10 rebounds and dishing out nine assists.

SOUTHEASTERN
Southeastern enters Saturday's contest as the highest-scoring team in the league at 82.4 ppg while shooting 48 percent from the field. Senior Andre' Winston has returned from a couple game absence and is back to his scoring ways, averaging 23.5 ppg. Senior center Timothy Mitchell averages better than a double-double for the Fire at 15.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per contest.

SEU has four players currently averaging in double-figures led by Winston and Mitchell. Caleb Konieczny is the team's best three-point shooter at 53 percent, connecting on 42 on the season.

ERAU is 10-6 against the Fire all-time, splitting last season's games as both teams won at home. The Eagles are 6-4 against Southeastern since SEU joined The Sun Conference.
