EMBRY-RIDDLEThe Eagles are coming off a busy week in which the Blue and Gold suffered its first loss of the 2014-15 season before earning two big wins over the second place teams in The Sun Conference, Johnson & Wales and No. 22 Southeastern. Embry-Riddle (19-1, 7-1) holds a two-game lead in the loss column over three teams (JWU, SEU and Northwood) in the league standings with 10 games remaining.
The Eagles continue to shoot the ball at a high percentage, averaging 51 percent from the field and 38 percent from long range. ERAU's 37.0 rebounds per game ranks first in The Sun Conference while the Eagles also pace the league in assists (19.9) per contest.
Dalton Barnes leads a trio of Eagles scoring in double-figures with 14.9 ppg, followed by
Cesar Pastrana (13.5 ppg) and
DeForest Carter (12.7 ppg). Pastrana paces the Eagles with 8.1 boards per outing while Carter leads ERAU with 6.8 assists and 3.8 steals per game.
NORTHWOODNorthwood (12-6, 5-3) comes to Daytona Beach after a 2-1 week with wins over Florida Memorial and Ave Maria and a loss to Thomas on the road. The Seahawks are averaging 73.2 points per game while shooting 45 percent from the floor.
Chris Solomon leads NU with a 15.2 ppg clip, shooting 40 percent from three and 85 percent from the free throw line. Fred Mattison averages 12.4 points and 8.8 rebounds per game for the Seahawks while Marcus Hardy brings 11.1 points and 6.4 rebounds to the Northwood effort.
THE SERIESERAU is 11-10 all-time against Northwood, including a 6-3 mark at home versus the Seahawks. Last season, the Eagles and Seahawks split the regular season series with each team winning on the road.

Heading into his 26th season at the helm of the ERAU men's basketball program, Head Coach Steve Ridder ranks fifth on the NAIA Division II men's basketball winningest active coaches listing. Ridder has 624 wins in 26 seasons as the Eagles' head coach.Â
