SCOUTING THE EAGLES
The Embry-Riddle women's basketball team is looking to bounce back from a tough five-point road loss to Southeastern on Saturday. The Blue and Gold got 17 points from Kalah Martin and 10 rebounds from Mercedes Jorge, but it wasn't enough to get by the league's third-placed team as the Fire held of the Eagles 65-.60.

With an 11.9 points-per-game average, Jorge is leading an Eagle team that is scoring 66.9 points per contest. She is followed closely by Sabrina Whiting (11.6 ppg) and Martin (11.5 ppg). Taylor Cyphers leads the squad on the boards with 7.9 rebounds per game, and she leads the team and ranks 15th in NAIA II in blocks per game (2.2). Martin and Whiting are averaging 3.0 assists each per game as Embry-Riddle has assisted on 58.6 percent (262-447) of its field goals this season.

As a team, the Eagles are outrebounding their opponents on average 9.8 rebounds per game, which ranks the team sixth nationally in that category. The Eagles are also listed among the nation's top 10 in field goal percentage defense (3rd, .321), scoring defense per game (8th, 55.9) and rebounds per game (9th, 46.4).
 
SCOUTING THE SEAHAWKS
Second-year head coach Courtney McDaniel brings her team into Wednesday's game with a 4-13 overall record after leading Northwood to a 15-14 mark last season. The Seahawks are looking to snap a two-game losing streak after they fell to 3-5 in league with an 88-71 loss to Florida Memorial on Jan. 24.
 
The Seahawks are getting most of their offense from Stephanie Granada who leads Northwood in scoring (11.8 ppg) and assists (4.4 apg). As a team, Northwood is average 62.9 points per game.

LAST TIME OUT
• Embry-Riddle shot 33.3 percent from the field and 33.3 percent from beyond the arc in a 65-60 loss to Southeastern on Jan. 24.
Kalah Martin was point shy of her season-high with a 17-point outing against the Fire.
