EMBRY-RIDDLEThe second-ranked Embry-Riddle Eagles are 22-1 overall and 10-1 in The Sun Conference coming into tonight's Stretch Internet NAIA II contest against Warner. ERAU has won five straight since dropping their first, and thus far only, game of the season on the road to Thomas on Jan. 20.
Cesar Pastrana recorded his fifth double-double of the year on Wednesday night at Ave Maria, pulling down 14 rebounds to go along with 14 points. Pastrana is one of three Eagles to average in double-figures offensively, bringing 13.3 points per game to the ERAU effort along with 8.1 rebounds.
Dalton Barnes leads the Eagles with 14.1 ppg while averaging 4.5 rebounds and 3.3 assists.
DeForest Carter, who entered the program's top 10 in career points over the last two weeks, stands at 1,590 points, good for ninth all-time. Carter is averaging 12.5 points, 6.8 assists, 3.7 steals and 4.3 rebounds in his senior campaign.
WARNERThe Royals are ranked No. 24 in the latest NAIA II Coaches' Poll, but have dropped back-to-back games to St. Thomas and Thomas since cracking the top 25. Warner is 16-6 overall and 6-6 in TSC action, in a three-way tie for sixth in the league standings.
Warner is averaging 76.3 points per game while holding opponents to 63.6 ppg and 41 percent shooting from the field. Warren Hall has been the Royals' best offensive player, averaging 19 ppg with 5.4 rebounds while Eddie Delegal is second on the team with a 14.8 ppg average and leads the team with 6.8 rebounds per contest.
THE SERIESERAU holds a 44-13 mark against the Royals, winning four straight in the series and seven consecutive in the ICI Center.
