EMBRY-RIDDLE
The 11th-ranked Eagles play their first top 25 ranked team today as they host No. 21 Brewton-Parker in a twin bill. Embry-Riddle is coming off a weekend series win over Reinhardt to open the 2015 season, winning two of three from the visiting Eagles.

ERAU is hitting .272 as a team through the first three games of the season, slugging .424 with an on-base percentage of .362. Matt Jacobs had a monster game on Sunday, going 3-for-3 with two home runs, four RBIs and two runs scored as the Eagles won the series finale, 9-3. Enderson Velasquez leads the team with five hits in 12 at-bats for a .417 average while Jake Cavender is hitting .400 with three RBIs and sacrifice hits.

On the mound, the Eagles have posted a 1.00 ERA, including four pitchers with a 0.00 ERA. Today's probable starters, Clayton Wagner and Tyler Cyr appear in relief roles over the weekend. Wagner has tossed 2.0 innings with two strikeouts and no hits against while Cyr has thrown 2.1 frames with four Ks without allowing a hit. Zac Grotz, the Eagles' closer, has worked 2.0 innings of scoreless baseball with one save to his credit.

BREWTON-PARKER
The Barons opened their 2015 season last week with a doubleheader sweep of Albany State, 18-1 and 5-3. BPC is hitting .393 as a team with 22 hits, including nine doubles and 22 RBIs.

Mike Parker is 5-for-7 with seven RBIs for the Barons while Clay Fenwick has a 1.167 slugging percentage and .778 on-base percentage for BPC.

Brewton-Parker has a 5.40 ERA as a team while Michael Venturelli is 1-0 with a 1.93 ERA in 4.2 innings of work.
