THE OPENING TIP
• Embry-Riddle faces Northwood in West Palm Beach for the final regular season meeting between the two schools in conference play.

EMBRY-RIDDLE

The second-ranked Embry-Riddle Eagles are 23-1 overall and 11-1 in The Sun Conference coming into tonight's Stretch Internet NAIA II contest against Warner. ERAU has won six straight since dropping their first, and thus far only, game of the season on the road to Thomas on Jan. 20.

Cesar Pastrana was on of four Eagles in double-figures on Wednesday night at Ave Maria, pouring in 14 points to go along with eight rebounds. Pastrana is one of four Eagles to average in double-figures offensively, bringing 13.3 points per game to the ERAU effort along with 8.1 rebounds. Dalton Barnes leads the Eagles with 14.1 ppg while averaging 4.5 rebounds and 3.3 assists.

DeForest Carter, who entered the program's top 10 in career points over the last two weeks, stands at 1,604 points, good for ninth all-time. Carter is averaging 12.6 points, 6.7 assists, 3.7 steals and 4.4 rebounds in his senior campaign.

NORTHWOOD
The Seahawks are reveiving votes in the latest NAIA II Coaches' Poll after having been ranked 22nd on Jan. 27. Northwood is 14-9 overall and 6-6 in TSC action, sitting in seventh place in the league standings.

Northwood is averaging 73.2 points per game while holding opponents to 69.6 ppg. Chris Solomon has been the Seahawks' best offensive player, averaging 15.1 ppg while Fred Mattison is third on the team with a 12.5 ppg average and leads the team with 9.1 rebounds per contest.

THE SERIES
ERAU holds a 12-10 mark against the Seahawks and a 5-7 record on the road against Northwood. The Blue and Gold have won the last two games of the series in the Countess de Hoernle Student Life Center, including a 91-81 double-overtime victory in the 2013 Sun Conference Championship game.
